CONNOLLY HERE ON UN REELS

  Col. Jack Connolly of Office of Inter-American Affairs, newsreel division, stopped over yesterday en route from Washington to San Francisco, where he will supervise newsreel coverage at the United Nations conference starting next week.
Connolly, while here, made arrangements for Pathe Laboratory to develop all film and make lavender prints of stuff shot at the conference to be shipped to Latin-American countries. Film will be flown here from San Francisco under priority express developed and sent on
    to Latin America by air with the same priority.
Francis Alstock, head of OIAA, will be assistant to M. J. McDermott, chief press relations officer for the State Department in San Francisco, coming on from Washington to the Bay city with McDermott on Thursday.
Pete Mole, of Mole-Richardson, has been appointed supervisor for photography lighting at the convention, same post he held at the Mexico City meet. He leaves here Wednesday for the north with two trucks of equipment.
